What Are You Tolerating?
We all have tolerations in our lives. It doesn’t matter whether they are large or small we all have them to a certain degree. Sometimes of course we have to accept them in the short term but in the long term do we really need to accept less than what we really want?
Today I’m recommending that you sit down and really think about what you are accepting into your life by allowing your own tolerations. Do you, for example, tolerate a family member who has a habit of dumping their problems on you “because you’re family”? Maybe a colleague who does less than (s)he should because you tolerate their behaviour? Whoever it may be today is the day you should make a decision of whether it’s acceptable to you or not.
Of course don’t confuse things that you would choose to be different but that you can’t change. If, let’s say, you have to look after a sick parent of course you would prefer not to be doing it. You would much prefer your parent’s health to improve and so would they. When I talk of tolerations I mean things which you, yes you right there, can change if you choose to. And that’s the real key – if you choose to.
Why should you choose to stop your tolerations? Simply because if you are tolerating something you’re doing it unwillingly. And anything at all that you do less than willingly drains your energy levels. It lowers your vibes and that as we all know attracts things into our lives that we don’t want to have in there.
It’s up to you to decide. Are you going to choose to tolerate something that attracts negativity into your life or are you ready to choose positivity?
